This dish features a vegetable called pak kana – ผักคะน้ , a ‘sibling’ of the broccoli which is also known as Chinese kale/ Chinese Broccoli. Its flavor does bring broccoli to mind, but it is slightly more bitter. There are several kinds of this vegetable, and quite a few dishes are based on it, but the most popular one of them is stir-fried kana in oyster sauce.
